Mcllroy and Reed share the lead in Dubai at the close of delayed round one.

        Rory Mcllroy was co-leading with Patrick Reed in Dubai. Rory Mcllroy was tied with rival Patrick Reed for the lead after the delayed conclusion to round one of the Dubai Desert Classic, though the Northern Irishman was not entirely satisfied with his performance. The build-up to the tournament has been dominated by a spat between world number one Mcllroy and LIV Golf defector Reed. American Reed labelled Mcllroy an "immature little child" for blanking him at the practice range and was also alleged to have thrown a tee at Mcllroy. 2023 Formula One Schedule: Calendar for all 23 grand prix races.

   Formula 1 Calendar and schedule of races for the new season. The 2023 Formula 1 season will feature 23 races, beginning with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 5 and running until the chequered flag falls in Abu Dhabi on November 26. Qatar returns to the schedule in October having made its debut in 2021 before taking a break from motorsport to host the 2022 World Cup. F1 will also be hitting the streets of Las Vegas for the first time since the 1982 Caesars Palace Grand Prix. Las Vegas Strip will be the venue for a night race on November 18, for the penultimate race of the season. There had been plans for a 24-race calendar but the Chinese Grand Prix, originally set for April, was cancelled due to the ongoing restrictions being imposed by China's 'zero-Covid' policy. Pre-season testing will take place from February 23-25 in Sakhir.

     Eddie Nketiah scored twice for Arsenal. Arsenal made a huge statement of their Premier League intent on Sunday, coming from behind to beat Manchester United 3-2 in front of a raucous Emirates crowd. Marcus Rashford silenced the home fans with a stunning opening goal but an equaliser from Eddie Nketiah and wonderful second-half strike from Bukayo Saka turned the match on its head. The visitors, dangerous on the break throughout the match, levelled the pulsating encounter when Argentine defender Lisandro Martinez headed in after Arsenal failed to clear a corner. The Gunners poured forward in search of a winner and eventually got the goal they deserved when Nketiah turned the ball home in the 90th minute.
